How to use it

Four ways, and the last one is the best.

  1. Save it to your phone. Long-press the image, save to photos. It's there in the exam hall corridor when you want a last look.
  2. Print it. One page, A4. Above the desk.
  3. Screenshot the section you're stuck on and keep it open beside the question.
  4. Send it to the group chat. Someone in your year is panicking about this topic tonight. This is the whole thing on one page — it'll do more good there than anywhere else.
Teachers: print it, put it on the board, hand it out — no permission needed and no charge. If it's useful to your class, that's what it's for.

Where this comes from

The Cog is one of the five layers of the Mathslive Masterclass — written by Carl Lynch, who has taught Leaving Cert Higher Maths since 1992. The full Algebra course, all thirteen chapters, is free to everyone: typed notes, the rules stripped back, flashcards and a self-check.
